Health Department offfice and laboratory buildings plans and drawings, 1922-ca.1990.

This series consists of sets of design and "as-built" drawings created and maintained by the Office of General Services of the former Health Department office and laboratory buildings which were located on New Scotland Avenue in Albany. Drawings are of varying sizes, though generally about 24" x 48." The drawings date from approximately 1918 to 1970 and show the design of and modifications to those buildings during that period. They include construction drawings, floor plans, engineering plans, and other aspects of the buildings. Use of these facilities was discontinued when the Health Department relocated to the Empire State Plaza. The buildings no longer exist.
